Who Is Eligible for Student Journey Plus Student Insurance Plan?

You may be eligible to purchase Student Journey Plus Insurance if you meet the following requirements:

  • You are an international student, exchange visitor, spouse, or dependent child traveling outside your home country.
  • If traveling to the United States, you must have a valid F1/F2, J1/J2, M1/M2, or A1/A2 visa.
  • You are 31 days to 64 years old at the time coverage begins.
  • You are legally residing in your destination country and plan to stay there for at least 30 days.
  • On the effective date of the policy, you are not hospitalized, disabled, pregnant, or HIV positive, as required by the plan

What Are the Coverage Conditions Included in Student Journey Plus Insurance?

  • Coverage and benefits are subject to the deductible and coinsurance, and all terms of the Certificate of Insurance and Master Policy
  • Coverage under this plan is secondary to any other coverage
