Rafting
Rafting is an interesting outdoor sport using an inflatable raft to travel across a river or other bodies of water, and it is also called white water rafting. Paragliding
Paragliding is the combination of hang gliding and parachuting. The difference between these two is in paragliding one has to run down the hill, and in parachuting one has to jump from a peak height or aircraft. Solang Valley is home for its ice caps, glaciers & snow Mountains and winter festival. Flying as a bird dream as an individual can be fulfilled by this Paragliding sport.
In kullu valley areas like Solang Bijli Mahadev, Marhi and Fatru this sport can be carried throughout the year. According to the good weather conditions it is possible to stay up in the air for more than three to four hours and reach to a height of 3000 m. The boundary conditions of Manali are helpful for all levels of paragliding. The person above 15 years of age and weighing 45 to 85 kgs can go for an adventures sport.
A paraglider is a non-motorized, foot-launched with hollow wing, which is portable, launch, and land. It is built of nylon or polyester fabric.
In this sport one has to run down the hill at 35 degree, the results in air filling in the columns of the part that overlap, this allow the glider to take off. The perfect place for the paragliding is Solang Valley.
To take up this challenge the person should be mentally and physically fit, many stunts should not be performed beyond the limit's and it's an outdoor sport with is full amazing surprises and can handle any hurdle of paragliding.

Rappelling
Rappelling is a much better and safer sport than mountain climbing and anyone can rush towards this adventure.
This adventures sport is the only sport that one can look forward and can be carried out without any danger and the strength of the upper body is not necessary to love and enjoy this sport. Climbing and rappelling provides an ample of basic knowledge of the sport and will permit an initial, supervised experience.
To adventure this sport a normal fitness grade is necessary. Though it sounds somewhat amazing being a light weight fall where the rope hangs free and not touching the feet of rocks or walls, this sport is not harmful. It must, of course, be done under the perfect guidance; and some of the interesting sites are Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. Best time is from Mid-May to Mid-October.
