Thank you, I will confirm you the dates by tomorrow. I want to take a travel insurance for my parents aged 70 yrs and 64 yrs. They will be travelling to Canada for 2 months. Mother is healthy with no ailments, father has undergone a heart bypass surgery > 10 yrs. back, he is fine on regular medication. Can I get a travel insurance for both of them and which will be a good policy

As your father is having pre-existing condition related to heart, there is one insurance company Cholamandalam which covers pre-existing conditions in case of life threatening situations only. Lifesaving unforeseen emergency measures, provided to the Insured by the Physician for Disease/accident arising out of a pre-existing condition. The treatment for these emergency measures would be paid till the Insured becomes medically stable. All further costs to maintain medically stable state to prevent the onset of ailment would have to be borne by the insured.
