What would be the most convenient and cheapest mode of transport? Is there a system of monthly coupons/passes? |

Apart from cabs, which are the most expensive, you could take either the Subways for long distance travel or the City Buses for short distances within the city. Monthly passes and multiple-ride tickets are available for both Subways and City Buses. On buses, do give exact change in coins. Maps are readily available either at the subway ticket office or with the bus driver, at shopping malls, etc.
