Eligibility

US Citizens:
Must either be outside the US or plan to depart the United States within 30 days of Effective Date. Must also reside outside the US at least 6 months for every 12 month period.

Non-US Citizens:
Must be outside the US or plan to depart the United States within 30 days of Effective Date. If the Insured Person is located in the United States for more than 30 days after the Effective Date then proof of not being eligible for mainstream US health insurance is required.
U.S. Citizens:
Must reside outside the US or plan to leave the US on their effective date and plan to reside abroad for at least six of the next 12 months.

Non-US Citizens: Can reside anywhere, including their country of citizenship, although certain eligibility restrictions may apply while residing in the US (should not be eligible for mainstream US health insurance).
US Citizens:
Applicants must reside outside the US or plan to depart the US within 30 days of Effective Date. Insured persons must also be residing outside the US for at least 6 of the 12 months.
