Ailment treated as Pre-existing Condition or not
question

I was suffering from high Blood Pressure 3 years back and now I am fit and fine. As per doctors advice I have discontinued my regular medicines since 1 year. I am traveling overseas and I want to buy insurance for 30 days. Will you treat my ailment as pre-existing or not. Please clarify?

Thank you for contacting us for your travel insurance requirements. With reference to your email, you can just go ahead and buy any company policy you like. When a medical claim arises, the insurance company goes by the doctors report who has examined you in overseas. In his report if the doctor mentions the present medical condition is due to complication due to your high BP which you were suffering from couple of years ago, then the company will treat this as pre-existing condition as per agreed terms and conditions for pre-existing condition.
