A number of Indian web-sites provide a NRI-friendly service through which you can conveniently send
a letter to India. You can e-mail the content of the letter to the web-site
providing this service, and that site will print the e-mail and will mail the
print-out to the intended recipient in India via regular postal mail. This is faster than
mailing your letters via postal mail from abroad.
(Sites that support receiving mail from India usually scan the mail and send it
as a e-mail attachment, but some sites physically key in the text, so check the
web-site for details.)
