Oriental Travel Insurance Cancellation procedure
Before the policy start date
- Email request from the customer
- Need copies of first page & last page of the passport either scanned or courier
- The customer will be refunded the premium amount after deducting the cancellation charges of Rs.300/- per policy
After the policy start date
- Email request from the customer
- Need copies of 36 pages of the passport either by scan or courier
- The customer will be refunded the premium amount after deducting the cancellation charges of Rs.300/- per policy
Oriental Travel Insurance Renewal procedure
Initially the traveler can buy the insurance for any number of days up to maximum of 180 days. You can renew and re-renew for any number of days up to maximum of 180 days. The sum total number of days should not exceed 360 days
Policy holder can request for renewal of the insurance policy 7 days before the expiry of the policy.
Renewal of the policy either before expiry of the policy after expiry of the policy will be done with approval from the underwriting team.
Note: In case of expiry of the policy the extension will be approved from the expiry date by the underwriting team and the insured is not covered for the breakup period. However, the coverage will begin from the date of premium paid for the extension period.
