Beginning as early as Spring 1999, USMLE steps are going to be computer administered instead of the current paper and pencil administration. The last paper and pencil administration of Step 1 is scheduled for October 20-21, 1998; Step 2, March 2-3, 1999; and Step 3, May 11-12, 1999.
