Bio-data of Sachida Nagdev

Born in Ujjain in 1940. Having studied at Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai in 1961 he went on to do his Masters in Ancient Indian History and in Painting.

He has held more than 30 one man shows in most major cities in India and in France, Germany and Japan. He has participated at the Indian Triennale, New Delhi in 1974, the Biennale, Bhopal in 1986 and 1992 and the Osaka Triennale in 1990 and 1993. He is the recipient of many awards and his paintings are at the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi and the Contemporary Art Museum at Osaka, Japan.

He lives and works in Bhopal.
