Bio-data of Ramesh Rao

Born in Udipi, Karnataka. He is a self-taught artist with over 20 exhibitions to his credit, including participations in exhibitions at Johannesburg, Hong Kong and Bangkok.

He has won awards from the State Academies of Kerla, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. His paintings have been auctioned by Sotheby's and are to be found in several major collections in India and abroad.

Ramesh Rao lives and works in Udipi.
