Bio-data of Jin Sook Shinde

Born in S. Korea in 1952. Jin Sook completed her B.F.A. from Hong Ik College of Art in Seoul, S. Korea in 1976 and studied under Prof. S.W. Hayter in Paris from 1980-83.

She has had 4 solo exhibitions and 8 joint exhibitions with Vilas. She has been a regular participant at several group shows most notably at the Salon des Beaux-Arts, Paris in 1983, the International Graphics Biennale in 1988, the 3rd Bharat Bhavan Indian Art Biennale in 1990, the 2nd Daejeon Triennale in S.Korea in 1991, the Helpage Art Auction, Mumbai in 1993, the Maltwood Art Museum Exhibition, Canada in 1994, the Willberding Collection of Contemporary Indian Art at the NGMA, Mumbai in 1998, Women Artists of India, a Charity Auction at the NGMA, Mumbai in 1999. She has won the Krishna Reddy Prize in 1996.

She lives and works in Mumbai.
