An exhibition, featuring India's most renowned painter - Anjolie Ela Menon's much awaited new works, titled 'Gods and Others' is scheduled to begin from October 12, 2000 at the Admit One Gallery, New York City, with an opening reception with the artist herself. Bio-data of Anjolie Ela Menon

One of India's most accomplished painters, she has created a body of work of great beauty and depth over the last four decades. Her paintings reveal a deep sensibility, profoundly individual in perception, yet diverse in its sympathies: often Indian in subject, yet dwelling in some undefined territory.

She is the recipient of several awards including the Padmashree Award in recognition to her contribution to Indian art.
