Dear Sir/Madam,
Your snippet regarding increase in jobs for foreign medicos in the USA was
somewhat misleading. While the "State 20" or "Conrad 20" program did
increase it's positions to 30 jobs a year, the much larger program through
the US Dept of Agriculture was shut down.
As a result, Foreign doctors who entered the US on an exchange visitor (J-1)
visa actually now have far less opportunities to find employment in the
United States by obtaining a waiver, despite the State 20 increase.
