Indian American Lakireddy donates $1 Million to Merced College

Indian American cardiologist Hanimireddy Lakireddy has announced the formation Hanimireddy Lakireddy School of Health Sciences at Merced College, Merced, California. A ground breaking ceremony was also held for the school's new Allied Health Building, a $12-million, 31,000 square-foot building which will house school's health sciences, registered and licensed vocational nursing, certified nursing assistant, emergency medical technician, sonography and radiological technology programs.

Lakireddy had earlier donated $1 million to UC Merced for the construction of an auditorium.
