World Alliance of Goan Overseas Association is planning a meet of Non-residents Indians from the state of Goa on January 19 at Mandovi Riviera, Panjim, Goa. The theme of the convention is, "We still call Goa home" and is aimed at celebrating the solidarity, heritage and rich Goan traditions.

TAccording to UK based Rene Baretto who is one of the organizers of the event, "The Global Reunion is a wonderful opportunity to meet Goans settled in different countries, start new friendships, renew old ones and to build a stronger link between Goans through networking."
