New Zealand Government has approved changes to its immigration laws, to ensure it contract skilled workers even as it addresses security concerns. The changes will have to be passed by the New Zealand Parliament. The changes proposed will help New Zealand garner a better share of the skilled worker immigration pie. The New Zealand Cabinet has agreed on a set of proposals for the new immigration law. The immigration Bill to replace the existing 1987 Act will be the first comprehensive review immigration legislation in 20 years.
