Indians on lower end of the skill graph can hope to migrate to Canada which is faced with labor shortage. Small and medium-sized business owners in Canada are complaining that the federal immigration system is not of much help and does not come close to meeting their needs particularly for medium-level positions. In a comprehensive new study, the Canadian Federation of Independent Business [CFIB] Immigration and small business, suggests that better matching of applicants skills with those required in India, including greater focus on trades and medium-skilled job categories, not just professionals, would help address the critical labor shortage situation.
