August 21, 2003 India to raise H1B visa issue with US
India is raising the issue of reduction of H1B visas for specialized workers with the United States. According to PTI reports, this was stated by the Information Technology Minister Arun Shourie. The US has decided to reduce the quota of H1B visas from 1,95,000 to 65,000 this year, "we are trying to pursue the matter", Information Technology Minister Arun Shourie in the Rajya Sabha. more snippets...
