March 31, 2003 3,000 Keralites return to India from Kuwait
Nearly 3,000 Keralites had returned so far from Kuwait following the outbreak of US war against Iraq. This was reported by Press Trust of India and was quoting Kerala's Minister for Information and Non-Resident Indians MM Hassan. According to Mr. Hassan there are four lakh people of Indian origin in Kuwait, fifty per cent were Keralites.
