A commercial agreement was signed in Mumbai recently between Qatar Airways and the Indian Civil Aviation authorities allowing Qatar Airways. This agreement will allow Qatar airways to operate to two new destinations in India and increase the frequency of its flight to Mumbai.
Qatar Airways will launch direct flights to Hyderabad from November 21. From March 1 next year, Qatar's national carrier will be flying three times a week to Kochi. Meanwhile starting from October 27, the airline will increase their frequency to fly six times a week to Mumbai. Qatar Airways currently operates 4 flights a week to Mumbai.
The airline now operates a daily service to Thiruvananthapuram. With the raising of the Mumbai frequency and the launching of services to two new destinations, the number of Qatar Airways flights to Indian destinations will go up to 19.
