Tony Blair, UK's Prime Minister, will visit India and Pakistan to help remove the threat of war between the two countries, media reports say.
A British official was quoted as saying that Blair's visit was, "part of his regional tour to de-escalate the war-like situation between Pakistan and India."
Blair will first visit India and Bangladesh, and then Pakistan. The dates of his visit were not disclosed, although media reports say that he is expected to arrive in Pakistan on January 7.
