Indians have the highest average incomes among all migrant communities
living in Germany, according to data released by the statistical department
of the German government.
A statement issued by the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce said 35,000
Indians, currently living in Germany, have the highest average incomes,
often working as medical staff and scientists or running their own business.
Approved Indian investments in Germany are $21 million, it said, adding that
Germany ranks No. 9 where Indian investments abroad are concerned.
The statement said Indian investments in Germany currently exhibit high
growth rates mainly due to the IT boom.
