NRI group regrets Dalai Lama's comments

The Jammu and Kasmir project of the Bharat Awareness Forum, an organisation of
non resident Indians have reacted strongly to Dalai Lama's suggestion that the
wishes of the people of Jammu and Kashmir should be respected.
A statement issued by the organisation highlighted the observation of AS Anand,
the Chief Justice of India who maintained that "The constitution (of Jammu and
Kashmir) adopted on 26 January, 1957 represents the supreme will of the people of
Jammu and Kashmir"
