May 1, 2001 Databank of US returning IT professionals
The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) and National Association of Small and Medium IT Companies (NASMEIT) have decided to set up a data bank on IT professionals returning from US to India according to the Bangalore based Deccan Herald Newspaper. The database is aimed to help small and medium IT companies in India who are suffering from lack of trained experts. According to the report, an estimated 24,000 Indian IT professionals are reportedly on the "bench" and about 8,500 have already returned back to India. - nriol.com report more snippets...
