Some of Bollywood's leading personalities will be in New York this weekend
for the Zee Gold Bollywood Awards function according to Reuters.
The celebrities expected in Saturday's function include Amitabh Bachchan,
Akshay Kumar, Karisma Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Sonali Bendre, Mahima Chaudhary
and Gulshan Grover. Hollywood celebrities like Stevan Segal and Jean Claude
Van Damme are also expected to attend the ceremony.
Hindi movies are very popular with the large Indian community in the United
States. New York often plays host to events featuring popular Bollywood
stars. According to the Reuters report, this weekend event is billed as the
largest Bollywood show in the United States.
