Can the Indian IT brain drain be reversed?

A NRIOL opinion poll asking the question, "Has the Indian IT industry matured enough to cause a significant reverse brain drain within the next 5 years?" has by and large thrown up an ambivalent answer.

Although 52% of poll respondents feel the answer is "yes", a not so insignificant minority of 44% feel the opposite. Of the total of 55 participants at the time of writing, the difference in number between those who said "yes" and those who said "no" is only five.

Clearly, NRIs have mixed feelings about the issue – which in turn, gives us a pretty good indication of how likely IT professionals are to return to India within the next five years.

NRIOL gives a big *Thank You* to those who took part. To view the full poll results, please click here.
