India to introduce visa-on-arrival facilities

India will soon introduce visa-on-arrival facilities according to Malaysian Media reports. This was announced by the Indian Tourism Minister Ananth Kumar while visiting Malaysia. According to Mr. Kumar, Malaysia was one of 25 countries to which India planned to introduce this facility.
The Indian minister is visiting Malaysia to discuss efforts to increase bilateral co-operation on tourism. The Indian Government is giving Malaysia landing rights to nine cities. These included Delhi, Bombay, Hyderabad and Bangalore. India has also opened its Andaman Islands to foreign investment and would like Malaysians to develop the islands.
