In a bid to attract Indian visitors, the British tourist board is to create maps showing places in the UK where Bollywood movies have been shot, according to media reports.
The British tourist board is distributing 55,000 maps which shows these locations. Ever year, about 15 Bollywood movies are shot in the UK, which now competes with Switzerland and New Zealand as a Bollywood film location.
A spokesman for the British Tourist Authority was quoted as saying, "A few years ago we released a map of key movie sites in Britain for a western audience and that was very successful. So we believed another map of Bollywood locations could be as successful because many Indian tourists would want to know where scenes were shot."
