The Indian government has given permission to Dubai-based Emirates Airlines to fly to Hyderabad, according to media reports.
The Indian Minister of State For External Affairs, Krishnam Raju was quoted as saying, “Flights by Emirates to Hyderabad have been cleared by the Indian Civil Aviation Authority. It is now up to the airlines [Air India and Emirates] to discuss the details between themselves.”
Mr Raju said he would discuss the details with Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates Airlines and the President of the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation.
