The following countries have offered help for the quake victims, according to media reports.
Australia: $550,000, plus services of a disaster management expert
Belgium: $920,000
Britain: Team of 69 rescue workers, plus $4.5 million worth of emergency aid.
Canada: $2 million
China: Sent nine seismologists; $602,000 worth disaster relief, China's Red Cross offered $50,000.
France:Two medical teams, nine tons of material, including a field hospital and emergency food.
Germany: $900,00, team of 25 rescue workers with six sniffer dogs to help search for survivors.
Ireland: $1.1 million
Israel: 150 relief workers at India's request; team includes an entire field hospital with doctors.
Italy: $2.3 million, team of experts
Japan: $976,000
Kuwait: $250,000
Malaysia:$100,000 dollars, offered specially-trained team to assist in rescue efforts.
Netherlands: $2.5 million.
New Zealand: $200,000
Norway: $1.1 million
Oman: Sent an unspecified amount of food, medical and other relief supplies
Pakistan: Offered relief supplies for victims of the quake but military ruler Pervez Musharraf said New Delhi had declined the offer.
Qatar: Sending emergency humanitarian aid
Russia: 59-strong team of medical and rescue experts
Saudi Arabia: Two cargo planes of relief supplies
South Korea: $100,000 dollars, 17-member medical team
Switzerland: 45-strong Swiss rescue team
Taiwan: $100,000, offered to send rescue team but Indian response lukewarm as India doesn't recognise Taiwan.
Turkey: 35 Turkish rescue workers
UAE: Unspecified relief aid
United States: $5 million dollars worth of aid - plastic sheets, blankets, water containers and generators, plus seven-person disaster assistance team
