The President of Iceland, currently on an official visit to India, has said he wants his country to work with Indians in the area of IT, media reports say.
President Onafur Ragnar Grimsson was quoted as saying, ""We want to consolidate contacts in many areas, mainly in information technology. Many people in our country are keen on developing contacts with India in this field."
However, he also said there was also scope for cooperation in fisheries, the pharamaceutical and bio-technology sectors.
No mention was made about an Icelandic green card scheme though!
