The first ever visit by a head of state between India and Iceland will take
place between October 28 and November 3, according to the Ministry of
External Affairs.
Iceland's President, Mr Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, will visit Agra and Mumbai
in addition to Delhi. His delegation includes Mr. Halldor Asgrimsson,
Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade and senior officials.
Mr Grimsson will also inaugurate a festival of Icelandic films in Delhi.
Further, an India-Iceland business seminar will be organised in Mumbai on
November 1.
