According to the latest NRIOL opinion poll, the majority of NRIs who want to return to India to settle down plan to do so within five years.
More than half of the respondents said they would return within five years, and just about 12% said they plan to return home in less than a year’s time. Over 18% said they would return within 10 years and only 9% said they would return after retirement.
The question is, will they be hit by the X=X+1 syndrome?!
