Italy also joins bandwagon to lure Indian IT talent

The demand for Indian IT talent seems to be growing by the day! According
to a Deccan Herald news report, Italy is the latest nation to join the
already long list of countries luring Indian technical professionals. In its
attempt to attract Indian talent, the Karnataka Medium and Large Scale
Industries Misister, Mr. R V Deshpande, has been invited to lead a
high-profile Indian IT Mission to Italy. Italy has already shown interst in
providing 1,000 It jobs to Indian IT professionals. It is important to view the Italian market in the context of its position
within the European Union (EU). Italy currently accounts for close to 10
percent of the total EU information and communication technology market.
The European Union itself currently represents about 30 percent of the total
world market, while the US accounts for 36 percent and Japan around 11
percent.
