India may repeal the ban on domestic workers going to Kuwait, the BBC reports. Indian minister Ajit Kumar Panja, who is visiting Kuwait, said he hoped the ban would be lifted by the end of this year.The ban had been imposed after Indian domestic servants had been abused and cheated by their employers in Kuwait.
Indians form the largest expat community in Kuwait – over 200,000 - and half of them are domestic workers.
