Here we go again: following hot on the heels of German opposition to Indian IT, the issue has also stirred passions in Israel, a country that has apparently planned to bring in 10,000 IT experts from India.
News reports said the Israeli Labour Minister El Yishai called the plan a "stupid proposal" that would result in lower pay for domestic workers.
Indian Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh had visited Israel last week, and the Indians had been told that the Israelis were finalising a policy to allow Indian IT experts into Israel.
