Information: This is an Indo-Japanese music event hosted by Indian Music lovers from interior of Aichi Prefecture in Japan. The name of Association is Japan India Forum, lead by Ms. Sadano Kikuyo and helped by Ms. Yonezu and others from Aichi. The event is supported by Toyota city, Toyota International Association and Chunichi Group of Newspapers and Indian Embassy, Tokyo.
Dr. Chandrakant Sardeshmukh will play the traditional Indian Sitar with Tabla player Kulbhushan Bhargav, who is a disciple of Prem Vallabh from New Delhi. In addition to traditional Indian Sitar, Dr Chandrakant will also perform separate joint session each with Shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute), Shamisen, Koto and Jushichigen, (All Japanese string instruments) along with Japanese drums. All artists playing Japanese instruments are native Japanese. The grand finale featuring all the above Japanese instruments including drums and Indian Sitar with Tabla, is composed by Dr. Chandrakant.
