Subject: Seek help on obtaining Life Membership

Dear NRIOL.COM,

I am an NRI living in Thailand for the last 7 years.

I became a Life member of NRI Sabha Distt Unit Ropar from Mohali (D.C. Cum Chairperson Mr. Amarjit Singh Virk). I paid Rs 5000 in June 1999 for a Life Membership. Surprisingly I haven't received any acknowledgements or correspondence yet.

I am very disappointed with the service. Mr Virk had informed me that life members would receive ID cards. Apparently ID cards would help in addressing grievances. However, I haven't received even a thank you note.
