February fund raiser

Ashraya’s third Art Show was a small one this time and offered the art lovers in the city an opportunity to view a delightful collection of work by a talented artist. Amid Lush Greenery, in the garden of a beautiful old house, art and nature complimented each other.
The one-man show of artist Naozer Daruwala was attended by friends, well wishers and members of Ashraya. However, the show was not just about the exhibition and sale of paintings, but was also to support a cause - Ashraya’s rural residential school at Neelbagh.
As funds are needed for new buildings and equipment, this was a fund raising effort. Naozer not only sold most of his paintings, but he also donated the entire proceeds to Ashraya.

We would like to say a special thanks to the artist for his very generous gesture. We would like to remember very specially Naz Rovshen, to whose memory this show was dedicated. Finally, thanks to all our friends for their support - thank you for being there.
