Advantages of adopting from Ashraya!!

This is an email that we received from one of our parents with adopted Ashraya children Trina and Avishek.

" I am writing the episode of Trina and Avishek’s discussion on the pros and cons of adoption.

A friend of mine who has a daughter ( 5 ½ yrs) of Trina’s age is expecting her second issue. This child was telling Trina ( 5 ½ yrs.) and Avishek ( 4 yrs.) that her mother is going to have a baby soon. I overheard their discussion which went as follows –

Friend : My mother will have a baby soon
Trina : Where is the baby now ?
Friend : In her stomach
Trina : Stomach !! How will the baby come out ?
Friend : The doctor will cut her stomach and bring the baby out.
Trina : But that will be very painful. Why isn’t your mother bringing a child from Ashraya ?
Friend : Having a child is always painful. I know about Ashraya. That ’s for people who can’t have babies. If my mother can have one why should she go to Ashraya ?

At this point Trina felt defeated and kept quiet. Avishek who all along was playing near them now intervened.

Avishek : How many babies does your mother have in her stomach ? One ? Two ?
Friend : One.
Avishek : If you go to Ashraya you can have as many babies as you want in one go – you can have as many as will fit into your bed and even more. Also you will know if you are having a brother or a sister and will not have to keep on saying baby.

Their friend had no answer to this logic and both my kids were visibly proud to have established that bringing a child from Ashraya is undoubtedly better than having a child from the stomach."
